Badass ladies of cinema, TV and literature. Maybe I always secretly – or not so secretly – wanted to be a badass. But it seemed like, apart from Charlie’s Angels and a few token buxom broads in Saturday morning cartoons (hello, She-Ra), there were very few examples for an aspiring young badass girl.
Lucky for me, I grew up, but not out of the badass phase. In honor of my own fabulous creation, Miss Rosalind Rees, I would like to focus on the discussion of women who kick butt and take names in all manner of media. Since I don’t read comics or graphic novels, feel free to shoot a suggestion or two my way. In the meantime, one with the cavalcade.
